Athlete Profile: Natalie Wilkie

“A little bit about myself, I've been skiing my entire life and began racing with the Larch Hills Nordic ski club. I transitioned to Para Nordic skiing in 2016 after a woodshop accident and raced at my first Paralympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
I grew up on my family's farm in Salmon Arm, where I love to train and ride horses with my sisters. I currently live in Canmore.”
Some highlights of her results:
- Gold, silver bronze medallist at 2018 Paralympic Games
- 2 silver medals World Championships 2019
- Multiple world cup medals and wins

I also race able bodied (I can strap my hand to my pole to use both) and some of my best results include:
- Silver medal at Easterns 2018
- Bronze medal and third place aggregate award at Nationals 2017
